With the headline: “A downright ludicrous experiment”, we are left in no doubt what the author thinks of recent moves by the German coalition government in Hesse to further restrict movements at Frankfurt Airport. He has a point. There is already a Supreme Court judgment on the airport – but if politicians can come in later and change policy, it rather belittles the authority of the judiciary. The new state government is, apparently, considering an extra two-hour flight ban per day, and a review of the third terminal plans. Interesting article (although we would question whether the success of the new coalition government in the state of Hesse is really one of today’s top issues on the internet).
