Not all talking shops, it seems, are just that. The latest trade talks have resulted in agreement to boost global trade facilitation. Here, Forbes takes a brief look at what affect that will have on logistics – and in theory it looks good. The trade pact encourages the use of electronic documentation, faster clearance, transparent regulations and fewer inspections. But, as this writer warns: “All of this seems like commonsense, although when it comes to trade, commonsense has not always been so common.”
