It’s hardly surprising news that the AP Møller group is looking to reduce its reliance on its container shipping division. While much new investment is likely to go to its oil and gas divisions, there are also important implications for its container terminal operating business, as well as its logistics arm Damco which, coincidentally, is just in the final stages of relocating its global HQ from Copenhagen to the new APM Terminals building in The Hague.
