Recently back at work after a heart operation, Maersk boss Nils Andersen believes freight rates have now hit a point where lines are, wait for it, actually making money. That said, overcapacity will continue to trouble the industry for a few more years, which is why the Danish giant won’t be ordering anymore vessels for a while– “We have roughly the ship capacity that’s needed to maintain our market share in the next five years,” he said.
