Stena Line’s decision to return freight capacity on its Belfast-Liverpool-Heysham routes is good news for its customers that have struggled to keep vital supply lines open during the pandemic.

Ferry companies serving the UK saw their revenue plummet like a stone during the height of the Covid-related lockdown, but they now hope they are over the worst of the crisis as demand starts to return to pre-virus levels.
