Germany has been Europe’s stalwart economy in these challenging times – bossy, but bringing home the bacon. However, slower growth in orders in February, along with less output, has triggered a little crisis in confidence in its manufacturing sector, which has unexpectedly shrunk. German companies are becoming more nervous as the European debt crisis starts to affect the automotive sector, and global growth continues to slow.
