DHL Global Forwarding believes increased demand this year will keep rates up. The forwarder told Reuters it was seeing growth in both air and sea, while some ocean customers were switching to air because of longer shipment times than normal and some port congestion. And it may be bad news for shippers: rates “have hit a turning point” said the company.
