DB Schenker management believes the increasing number of rumours about a possible sale – and potential buyers – are being spread by parties that “clearly have their own agenda”.

In a letter sent yesterday to staff from Levin Holle, chairman of the supervisory board, and Jochen Thewes, chief executive, and seen by The Loadstar, the pair tried to dismiss rumours, which they said had been circulating particularly strongly at Munich last week.
