Drewry’s weekly insight today looks at the 8,000-10,000teu range of ships. There is a surplus of orders looming after an extra 18% capacity in the sector arrived this year – next year will see 11.6% added to the global fleet, with another 11.6% year-on-year capacity add-on planned for 2015.
