Canadian Pacific and the Teamsters union appear to have reached a tentative agreement. Yesterday, The Loadstar reported that some 3,000 train conductors and engineers walked out after rejecting the latest proposed collective bargaining agreement. Now, it seems a four-year deal has been reached. Though “tentative”, the agreement has brought the strike to an end and, if all’s well, operations should be back up and running later today.
