Saudi Arabia’s ports are suffering from severe congestion, the president of the Ports Authority has admitted. Two shipping lines are refusing to call at Jeddah, transport charges have risen by as much as 150%, and “tens of thousands” of trucks were stuck outside Riyadh. And it seems there is no end in sight.
