More bad news for Brazil – its main trucking union has called for an unofficial 72-hour strike, starting today and potentially harming Brazil’s export trades. With a record soybean harvest on the way to its ports, the strike is not good timing. The union is calling for, among other things, the government to establish a department for cargo transport.
