As everyone’s favourite online retainer launches AmazonSupply, an online marketplace for industrial and MRO [maintenance, repair & overhaul] parts, this article asks what the affect will be on MRO distributors, how well Amazon will ship large volumes and what the threat will be to non-integrated suppliers – in short, is Amazon setting itself up as a forewarder?
