The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) and the EU have agreed to unlimited cargo flights between the two blocs, as they come close to finalising a comprehensive air transport agreement (CATA). The news will likely be welcomed by cargo carriers eyeing Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia in particular as new sourcing locations, if the trade stand-off between the US and China continues. The agreement will allows freighters unlimited third, fourth and fifth freedom rights.
