    Hello Roy and Des,

Sounds great – please dont forget to work on harmonizing the business and IT processes and solutions. Also not improving industry communication and electronic exchange in general. in all 3 areas a lot of work is still needed. More then happy to help on that. Des knows me well enough to know i really can help there.

    Best regards,
    Hans

I wish Des & Roy all the best in their initiative.

I am hoping this will take these selected participants toward improving their automation, measure their true service performance and use the information recorded toward continuious improvement.

To be successful they need not just adopt eCargo efforts, lead in data toward security improvement but push the envelope how business can be done in the new electronic world.

Standardization will be key as well. Use the current standards, change the ones that need to be changed and do this so the participants begin leading the need for change.

I look forward in seeing what happens.
