November global air freight growth concentrates in Asia and Middle East

It’s reassuring ? if not surprising ? that November’s air cargo FTK figures were up 4.2% year-on-year, while capacity grew 3.3%. Demand grew 0.8% on the previous month. Asian and Middle Eastern carriers benefited the most, according to this IATA data, up 5.9% and 12.9% respectively – and together they snaffled 93% of the growth.
