Comment / Covid-19 radar: Is just-in-time out of time?

I recently read with great interest a short article that timely questioned the ongoing viability of one of the world’s most enduring supply chain principles – here it goes: “The just-in-time supply chain theory has conquered the world — but has it gone too far?”

Which made me wonder if just-in-time (JIT) has also become the latest unintended victim of Covid-19? And, if JIT is in fact DOA, what impact does that have on global supply chains and their practitioners?
