Strong winds cause container cranes to collapse at JNPT, Mumbai

Strong winds and heavy rain have caused three container cranes to collapse at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust in Mumbai. The port had suspended operations because of the weather, and no one was injured.

The port has been unable to survey the damage, according to Business Standard, but a  source at the port said they were more concerned with checking that the other six cranes are functioning properly as ships are scheduled to arrive. You can see images of the collapsed cranes here.
