E-commerce is continuing to soar, but prospects of new cargo facility development at airports have dimmed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Fitch Ratings provided a snapshot of the situation for airports on 31 March, when it revised its outlook for major US gateways and hubs to ’negative’.

The list of airports includes Houston (Airport System), Philadelphia, Denver, Minneapolis/St Paul and Charlotte.
