3PLs have had a good year, according to the Annual Third-Party Logistics Study released last week. Revenues were up 13.7% and things looked particularly bright in Latin America. The survey of 2,000 shippers and 3PLs revealed that more companies are outsourcing logistics, but that 58% of shippers are trying to reduce the number of 3PLs they use. An interesting read – but mostly North American in focus.
