The unions hold considerable sway and have done their level best to bankrupt Victoria via CFMEU work practices.
It’s incredible how “safety” has been weaponised to the point where 2 lanes on a 3 lanes freeway are closed for hours while a crew of onlookers watches a guy change a lightbulb off the verge of said freeway! Also in the name of safety the sole operating land speed is reduced from an already ridiculously low 80km/h to 40km/h !!!
Fortunately union corruption & woke bureaucracy appear to be on the wane: let’s hope for a resounding Labour exit in upcoming VIC / Federal elections.
