SF Express, the Chinese express logistics company, has big plans – and expansion in Europe is one of them. The carrier, which hopes to grow its fleet to 100 aircraft by 2018, from its current fleet of 16 owned planes and 20 on charter, hopes to collect and deliver parcels in Europe. It claims to have 21% of China’s market share in air cargo shipments – or about one million tonnes this year. China, meanwhile, has said it would support the e-commerce industry, as one of its pillar of economic growth.
