SEEKING ALPHA reports: “Walmart will pay an average of $87.5K per year to its truck drivers starting next month, according to CNBC. The increase in pay by the retail giant is due largely to a national shortage of truck drivers. In a bid to attract drivers, Walmart also offers three weeks of paid time off in a driver’s first year and quarterly bonuses for safe driving. Walmart hired more than 1.4K new drivers last year.”
