02 April 2014 – DOHA, Qatar – Qatar Airways Cargo celebrates the launch of its new freighter service to Hyderabad (India). The first flight from Doha arrived at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on 1 April and was welcomed with a traditional water cannon salute.
In addition, a welcome reception was held at the Hyderabad Novotel Airport Hotel, to celebrate the start of the new, dedicated freighter service.
“Hyderabad is a key destination for Qatar Airways Cargo, and we are delighted to start our scheduled freighter service this month,” said Qatar Airways Chief Officer Cargo Ulrich Ogiermann. “We aim to be a world-class air cargo service provider, and this is why we are constantly expanding our worldwide network.”
