“Paradigm shift” was a term coined by philosopher Thomas S Kuhn to describe the how our understanding of the world changes as scientific advances take root in popular consciousness – such as moving from a geocentric to heliocentric view of the solar system courtesy of Copernicus and Galileo. This blog argues that the use of data is leading to a paradigm shift in the way global supply chains operate, in three fundamental ways.
