Forbes has taken a look at future possible disruptions to the transport industry, focusing on same-day delivery, 3D printing and autonomous commercial vehicles. It finds that while same-day delivery is a concern for some companies, most people can cope with next-day services. But 3D printing could have a significant detrimental affect on air cargo players which handle high-value, urgent shipments; while autonomous vehicles could also heavily impact companies, although the social and legal framework is not yet ready.
