Since mid-April, Delta Terminal has been facing severe congestion, and in a knock-on effect other terminals in Rotterdam are affected. Current delays are of up to 48 hours. The congestion is being caused by late arrivals of deepsea vessels, system outages and shortages of labour. News is that this situation will last for at least another 1-2 months.
