CH Robinson announced that revenue had increased by 11.1% in the first quarter, to $3.4bn, with net income of $122m, up 2.6%.
While turnover at its key truckload division fell 5.5%, to $304m, its air division saw revenue grow 18.5% to $21.8m. Ocean rose 7.2% to $62.8m and LTL went up 6.9% to $97m. The biggest loser was intermodal, which fell 19% to $7.4m. Customs rose nearly 50% to $16m.
