Who knew that cargo workers were more bolshy than those in the passenger division? Well, they are at Air France, apparently. Last week’s shirt-ripping assault by workers on managers has lead to arrests this week – with four of the five working in cargo. Perhaps that’s related to the fact that the route cuts announced will heavily affect freight, with, according to this report, 14 widebody aircraft being mothballed. In more poor behaviour at airlines, yet another senior manager at China Southern has been hauled off over an alleged crime – joining four others detained over “job-related crimes” earlier this year.
