Unreliable air cargo industry loses pharma traffic to sea, while ‘IATA sleeps’

Air freight’s share of the pharmaceutical transport market is plummeting, as sea freight is proving more reliable, according to forwarders. Airlines continue to have too many vulnerable spots in the cool chain, and there is a lack of standardisation which is triggering more manufacturers to ship by sea.
