AGI decreases carbon emissions through minimizing wait times at cargo warehouses.

Los Angeles, CA — 07/11/2024— AGI Cargo has announced the next phase of its “Skip the Front Counter” initiative at LAX, in partnership with CargoSprint. This initiative enhances operational efficiency, reduces trip turnaround times, and promotes sustainability through a paperless process for order scheduling and pickup, reinforcing AGI’s
commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. Since launching the Skip the Front Counter initiative, AGI has decreased wait time and front counter processing time for truck drivers by an average of eighteen (18) minutes.

“Launching the ‘Skip the Front Counter’ initiative at LAX marks a major milestone in our mission to improve operational efficiency and sustainability,” said Tim Harvey, General Manager of AGI. “This initiative not only speeds up and enhances the reliability of our services but also demonstrates our dedication to reducing our carbon footprint
and embracing eco-friendly practices.”

AGI’s collaboration with CargoSprint leverages advanced digital platforms to manage scheduling and pickup processes seamlessly. This partnership ensures that drivers can quickly access the information they need, reducing idle times and boosting overall productivity. The shift to a paperless approach also eliminates unnecessary paperwork, further supporting AGI’s ESG goals.

AGI is committed to setting new standards of excellence and sustainability in the air cargo logistics sector. The “Skip the Front Counter” initiative is rolling out across the AGI Network and reflects their proactive approach to adopting new technologies and practices that benefit customers, employees, and the environment.

“We’re thrilled to partner with CargoSprint on this innovative solution for our LAX facility,” said Gerald Kolasch, Chief Operating Officer of AGI. Our goal is to continuously elevate the customer experience at our facilities with user friendly and efficient applications, while at the same time maintaining a high standard of environmental best
