No rest for the wicked. The US administration is eyeing higher tariffs on Chinese goods in response to China’s decision to impose counter tariffs on those already introduced. According to Bloomberg, the US has threated to hit “every single Chinese import” with tariffs. The initial US tariffs took effect on Friday – leading to immediate counter tariffs from the government in Beijing. With no side looking likely to back down any time soon, this one is expected to heat up over the coming weeks.
