Air France-KLM, Delta, and Alitalia are to give up slots on Amsterdam New York and Rome-New York following a EU antitrust investigation. The EU ruled that if the slots were made available to other carriers, then the cooperation between the three SkyTeam players was acceptable. The deal with the EU authorities lasts 10 years.
