Last month, The Loadstar linked to a story explaining that there would be a glut of oil in the US by 2020 – potentially leaving environmental innovations on the backburner. But, according to this piece from FT Alphaville, the prognosis might not be as good as everyone first thought. Although, when one of the comments is this: “I have learned though experience that energy models are the most expensive, most cumbersome random number generators ever invented”, it may be more true to say that the future oil supply is as uncertain as everything else in these strange times.
