Air Charter Service (ACS) has appointed former chief executive Tony Bauckham (pictured above) as its Brexit consultant.
He first began at ACS in 2007, as managing director before taking over as chief executive, having joined from Volga-Dnepr UK where he was managing director.
Prior to that he held a number of executive roles over an 12-year career at Evergreen International, with prior stints including World Aviation Group and ANA Cargo.
ACS chief executive Justin Bowman said: “Tony is hugely experienced in the charter world and has all the relevant knowledge of ACS’s processes. We are delighted to be welcoming him back.”
Mr Bauckham will report directly to the board to ensure ACS’s operations are properly equipped in the event of a no-deal Brexit.
“Tony will also be analysing the most recent official advice and all the latest developments in order to assess the potential impact on ACS and aviation in general,” added Mr Bowman. “We believe the knowledge he will bring to the table will be of huge benefit to our customers.”
