Shippers are starting to feel increasingly concerned as Tuesday’s strike in the Port of Los Angeles has now spread to six of the seven terminals there, and three of the six terminals at the Port of Long Beach. Although this week is one of the quietest of the year, after the shopping festival that is Black Friday, and before the Christmas re-stocking begins, there has so far been no word from the unions about the length of the strike.
