Some hapless forwarder could find him or herself in the spotlight after Customs officers at Heathrow found what could be parts for a missile packed in a shipment for Iran. In the cargo shipment officially labelled as parts for the oil and gas business, the border force detected two ‘O’ rings, which can be used to form seals in rockets. The airline involved was not named, but British Airways looks to be the only carrier with a direct service to Tehran from Heathrow. Investigations continue, according to London’s Evening Standard.
