Deustche Post DHL yesterday said its first-quarter results were “negatively impacted” by currency fluctuation and customers opting for lower-priced delivery options. First-quarter net income rose 0.8% to €502 million, while total revenue rose 1.2% to €13.57bn. DHL Express’s average daily volumes rose 7.6%, while operating income rose 14.1%.
