The container-weighing battle in the US continues to rumble on, reports the WSJ. Exporters are appealing to Congress for help after shipping lines and ports said they would reject any containers without the verified gross mass. But Tyson Foods argued in a Senate hearing that the interpretation of the rule is too narrow. The World Shipping Council sounded more relaxed, saying “they’ll figure it out”.
