Envirotainer has had an eventful year. Highlights include winning Stora Exportpriset and expansion into new markets. Envirotainer’s next step at home is the opening of a new competence center, R&D and production facility in Rosersberg outside Stockholm.

“With new, modern premises – specifically adapted for our R&D and production – we are creating the right conditions to keep going forward as a fast-growing global company,” says Simon Angeldorff, CEO of Envirotainer. “When you walk through our doors, it should be clear that you have come to a market-leading, innovative company.”

Envirotainer is a global leader in temperature-controlled air transportation for pharmaceuticals. Through its network of partners, the company reaches more than 200 airports in more than 100 countries. Envirotainer’s headquarters and manufacturing are located in Sweden, but the company also has offices in Frankfurt, Dallas and Singapore.

The new premises are more centrally located and in easy reach of both Stockholm and Uppsala. They represent an investment in the future, setting the foundation for a center of expertise for cold chain and industry development.

“Since our expertise is an important part of our offer, we need premises that help us meet our customers’ growing needs for advanced transport solutions,” Angeldorff says. “In addition, two new climate chambers are being built at Rosersberg, where our team of cold chain experts can help customers plan thoroughly dependable transports for the often life-saving medications we carry for them.”

Envirotainer is a specialist in the transportation of temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals. Its customers include major pharmaceutical companies worldwide who require fast and secure transport where the cargo must remain at exactly the right temperature throughout – from the factory to the end-user. The company’s 2012 turnover was SEK 549 million. All of Envirotainer’s research and manufacturing takes place in Sweden, and sales are 100% export through cooperation with all major airlines and logistics partners.
