The debate about UK aviation’s (lack of) policies rumbles on. Here, The Economist sums up briefly the airport issue – whether to expand Heathrow, build a new airport or opt for a multi-hub approach (or, as the government has done, simply revise down growth forecasts, a simple, cheap and effective solution to the capacity problem). This article argues that Heathrow west is best, and that only the residents of Windsor Castle might complain.
