Kale Info Solutions USA joins Airforwarders Association

PRESS RELEASE: MUMBAI, October 01, 2020: Kale Info Solutions, USA a subsidiary of Kale Logistics Solutions (Kale), a trusted global IT solutions partner for several Fortune 500 companies worldwide for the Logistics Industry announced the joining of the Airforwarders Association (AfA), USA. As a member of the association, Kale will actively extend its digital trade facilitation expertise for the betterment of the Air Cargo communities in the North American region.

AfA serves as the voice of the air forwarding industry. As an alliance of indirect air carriers, cargo airlines and related businesses operating across the global transportation community, AfA represent member companies dedicated to moving air cargo through the supply chain.

Given the current case of COVID-19 spread, the revenues for air freight forwarders have been estimated to be more than halved. Profitability in the high-volume, low-margin freight forwarding industry depends on keeping shipments flowing to achieve efficiencies and economies of scale to cover their fixed costs. When that delicate balance is upended by a revenue plunge, forwarder profitability falls quickly into red ink.

Digitization of operations and trade brings in the necessary business visibility and predictability along with the possibility of saving costs from paper-based transactions.
