Alibaba founder Jack Ma has taken to The South China Morning Post to advocate against a trade war between the US and China. Using facts and figures, Mr Ma attempts to show how both countries have benefited from a symbiotic relationship – and, to his credit, it appears there’s some truth to this. Mr Ma’s plea for sanity has far less to do with encouraging Chinese exports into the US, and much more to do with opening up Chinese consumers to US exporters, particularly SME businesses.

Ali Baba has been engaged in some sort of a restrictive trade war. For some years now. However I do buy through Made in China.

I believe that is a nice and well intentioned man but he should pay attention to people.
