In yet more results, Echo Global Logistics announced a “breathtaking” fourth quarter, with revenues up 34.6%. For the year, it reported net income of $12.6m on gross revenue of $1.9bn compared with net income of $1.6m on gross revenue of $1.7bn in 2016. The company’s access to spot market truck capacity, it said, was helped by its acquisition of Command Transportation, while its proprietary technology was a “powerful engine for continued growth”.
