Life is good for large 3PLs, according to a new report. Gross revenues in the US rose 7.4% in 2013, with the highest rise, 20.5%, in the domestic transportation management sector. Dedicated contract carriage saw a 10.4% gain in gross revenues. The report notes that shippers are seeing the benefits in good relationships with 3PLs for managed transportation where they need predictability and wide coverage.
