Dutch media are reporting that Erik Varwijk, head of Air France-KLM Cargo, is to leave the company. The carrier, however, says that the information is “premature” – which makes it sound as if it is true, but was not meant to be revealed as yet. Time will tell – but if it is true, it sounds like yet another nail in the coffin of the troubled carrier, which was once feted as one of Europe’s top freight airlines.
