The latest name in the growing list of casualties of the re-imposed US sanctions on Iran is its first privately owned airline, Mahan Air, which has now seen Germany close its airports to it. According to this report by Air Transport World, the US originally placed Mahan Air on its sanctions list in 2011 and has been lobbying other governments to follow suit.
