There is a lovely blog about the human side of forwarding from the UK’s Neon Freight. It explains, in an amusing way, what a freight forwarder does, which, the writer notes, involves a lot of praying, swearing and plate-spinning. It’s a varied life, argues the writer, noting: “So constant is the ever-changing world, cargo, customers, conditions of weather and complete imbeciles, that never a dull day passes.”
And, he adds: “Yes computers and automation are on their way, but they won’t be taking over anytime soon and they make a shocking cup of tea.”

February 28, 2018 at 4:33 pmAs a VP of a freight forwarding company, one day my wife said to me, tell me again what you do, because I really don’t understand. Rather than explain the complexities and the intricacies of a freight forwarder, I asked her about shopping. When you go to the store to purchase stuff, do you ever think how that stuff actually gets to the store? She replied no, l never think about that.
Well, freight forwarders move stuff from point A to point B and sometimes point B is the store so that when you go shopping, there is stuff available that you can purchase. She seemed happy with that explanation. Cheers..

November 18, 2021 at 10:54 amAs we are also a freight forwarding company. Today randomly I Thought of asking my team about how their days are going and what they do in a day. Literally, everyone was so excited to tell me what they are up to.
Then one of them just told me to read this article. Oh man, I just loved this article and how well you have covered each and everything just loved it.
