Cargologicair (CLA), has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of a CFO and technical director.
David Bowden joins the team from Fiji Airways Group, where he was CFO and acting CEO between June and October 2015. He was previously CFO at UK carrier bmi, and has also worked for First Choice Airways and Thomson Airways, as well as AstraZeneca.
John Nicholas has also joined the UK cargo carrier, as technical director. A qualified aircraft engineer, he worked for British Airways and Caledonian Airways before starting a 19-year career with the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority.
At Cargologicair, he is responsible for all technical matters relating to the airline’s Boeing 747 freighter fleet and air safety programme.
Both Mr Bowden and Mr Nicholas are based at CLA’s headquarters at London Stansted Airport.
