Following on from NATS’s recent data visualisation showing flights on the North Atlantic, comes a spectacular look at flights in UK airspace during one day. Starting with the streams of transatlantic flights coming in, it then shows the ‘stack’ over Heathrow, military manoeuvres (essentially fancy squiggles) and the busiest heliport in the world – Aberdeen. As it says – it’s a cinematic peek into invisible infrastructure.
